'My work questions generational expectations for women within Western culture. I often create intimate scenes which represent societal, sexual and internal pressures on women while approaching topics through a nihilistic lens of interrogation and satire. My love of the horror genre often influences my work in a subtle and psychological way as I visually express the chaos and turmoils caused by sexual and emotional repression. By presenting complicated and difficult topics in a visually inviting way, the work draws the viewer in and leaves them feeling unnerved and inquisitive.'
